| Bio: | I'm not all that exciting, just busy. My motto lately has been "Paddle with one hand and bail with the other, just remember to switch hands occasionally to keep from going in circles."
I'm married to a fellow rennie, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) pastmagic, and we have two daughters--15.5 and 7. We met at KCRF 10 years ago and so far, so good.
I enjoy people and keeping busy, travel, and my friends. I play in our community band during the summer, am a co-leader for our 4-H Club, sing and play clarinet/accessory percussion in a band at my church, cheer my girls' ball teams and cheer squad, market/book/encourage my DHs performances, sew our festival costumes when I have time (and with DHs help). My teenager reminds every day that I am human. It takes all I have to stay one step in front of her and to help guide her through the decisions she has/gets/needs to make every day.
I have discovered within the past year that I *REALLY* like to bake. And I'm pretty good at it. So I bake like a crazy woman a few days each week that we have a festival, fill up my picnic basket, and pass out goodies. I'm always on the lookout for diabetic-friendly recipes so that a few special friends can enjoy my stuff, too. Now if I could only learn to cook half as well as I bake I'd be thrilled.
In general I'm pretty satisfied with my life. I am well-loved, content, and mostly happy with this place I've reached. I am proud of my husband and (most of the time) my daughters. I am still trying to find my place in this world but I've concluded that's a never-ending hike.
